The Last Supper
THE STORY
This sculpture by Albert Szukalski, a Belgian-Polish artist, was created in 1984 and is located in the ghost town of Rhyolite, NV. This is located just outside of Death Valley and adjacent to the town of Beatty, NV. It is made of fiberglass. The sculptor was inspired by what he found to be a striking resemblance between the Mojave Desert and the Holy Land’s scenic vistas. The stark white cloaks leave much to the imagination. It was originally expected to last for only two years.
