This shot was taken around 3:00 am in the freezing desert around Rhyolite. It was a difficult shot due to the light coming from Las Vegas around 90 miles away. This was the bank when Rhyolite was one of the biggest towns in Nevada. Mining was the draw and there are still descendants of the Mules roaming the town of Beatty. This is an interesting place with lots of history.
